Can You Help a Special Needs Cat?

CCLAS really needs to find a home for Forrest & Lt. Dan. These beautiful brother cats were abandoned in an apartment in Lakewood. What's worse... no one really knows the treatment the cats received while living there. They are both overfed and under-exercised, and Lt. Dan is missing a rear paw. Despite their sad history, this pair is incredibly resilient. They are both loving, calm, affectionate cats, with hearts large enough to match their stature! They are NEUTERED, adult male tabbies, who are also up-to-date on shots and flea meds.

Know someone who might be willing to adopt this dynamic duo? Spread the word! These boys are available at Lakewood Animal Shelter. Call 216.529.5020, and ask about collar #s 370 & 371.

Olive as a kitten the shelter

Help a friend in need

One of our CCLAS supporters and former foster mom of Suri, rescued several cats and kittens in an east Cleveland neighborhood this week and SHE NEEDS YOUR HELP! CCLAS through the assistance of the Cleveland APL are able to step in and aide with veterinarian examinations, antibiotics, vaccinations, and their spay and neuters. Pet's General has offered to help by donating food.

Unfortunately her home is quite small and not suited to care for this many kitties. As of today, there are seven kitties in need of foster homes or fur-ever homes. In addition to a safe and loving homes, she needs donations of food, clean blankets or towels, cat carriers. Advantage flea meds, ear mite medicines and clumping kitty litter.

If you can help, email cclaspromo@yahoo.com

Fall in love with REESE

Stunning, outgoing! Reese was in foster care nursing a young orphan kitten but she's now up for adoption through CCLAS. Our Reesie Cup is VERY playful and outgoing around people. Needs LOTS of attention. Probably will do well in a household with grade school kids. She'll crawl into bed at night with you and under the blankets if you let her. She's a pro at using her scratching post and we've never had a problem with her scratching at our furniture. She tested NEGATIVE for Feline Leukemia and FIV. Unfortunately our Reese is pone to FIC (Feline Idiopathic Cystitis) and will need to be on a strict wet food only diet with a limited environmental stress She also loves to hunt and potential be a good indoor & outdoor kitty in the right home. We strongly discourage declawing her.

Contact us at cclaspromo@yahoo.com.

Adoption fees are only $35 adoption fee and includes a collar with identification tag, a cardboard carrier, and a free initial veterinarian visit with participating local veterinarian. While in foster care, Reese has been spayed, received her initial vaccinated including rabies. Please visit our website at HTTP://www.cclas.info and our blog at http://cclaspets.blogspot.com/
