Black Cat Mania!

We have Oscar, Billy and Aster at the shelter! These three black kitties are decked out in their most formal attire for the Oscars this Sunday.
Pretty little Aster is only about 9 weeks old. You can tell she had a stressful life on the street, and she's happy to be nice and warm at the shelter. She still needs some coaxing to come out of her shell, but she purrs like a motorboat when you hold her. All she needs is love!

Billy (#55) is sweet as can be! When you pet him, he rolls on his back to be snuggled. He can't wait to find his fur-ever home. Will you take him home today?
How can you resist those eyes!  Billy waits for someone to take him home.
"Is this a bowtie?" Billy dresses up!
Oscar is a darling! He enjoys soft nuzzles, scratches under the chin, and anything on a string! He is entirely black with just a few hints of white on his chest and belly. Ask for collar 40.
These kitties are available for adoption at the Lakewood Animal Shelter, located in the Cleveland Metroparks, on Cleveland Metroparks Drive (Valley Parkway) just south of the Dog Park. Adoption fees are always - only $35. The fee includes a deworming treatment, an initial vaccination, flea prevention treatment, a collar with identification tag, a cardboard carrier, and an initial wellness exam with a second vaccination from participating local veterinarians.

Clooney is a sweet little guy who loves to cuddle.  Once tempted out of his box, all he wants is a good pet behind the ears or someone to play with.  While Clooney looks completely black, he actually has salt and pepper fur, just like his namesake!   Stop by and see if Clooney would make a good addition to your family!

Conan is the most relaxed, chill cat you've ever met.  He is just so sweet and calm; he'll make a great addition to your household. Ask for collar #38.

Oscar is a darling!  He enjoys soft nuzzles, scratches under the chin, and anything on a string!  He is entirely black with just a few hints of white on his chest and belly.  Oscar would love to be your valentine!

On the Way to Recovery, George is Looking for a Home for Valentines Day!

George was brought down to the shelter, neutered and declawed.  When he came in, he had several large abscesses on his tail and hind legs from bite wounds probably sustained during a fight with another cat.  He went to the vet to have his abscess cleaned up, he was such a mess! Poor George had to be put under anesthesia just to clean up his tail and hind legs.  After a night in the hospital, he was ready to go into foster care.  He's calm and friendly, and a wonderful houseguest! Now, he's just waiting for a new chance at a fur-ever home!  Would do best in quiet, low-key home.

George is currently in foster care.  Please email cclasfoster@yahoo.com if interested. Visit our website at http://www.cclas.info and our blog at http://cclaspets.blogspot.com/
