Two Dogs are Better Than One!

Why adopt one dog when you can have two? Unfortunate circumstances caused Bear and Juno to end up together at the Lakewood Animal Shelter last week. Both boys are big and would love to be adopted together. Bear is a still young 8 year old Lab/Shar Pei mix and his fluffy brother Juno is a 4 year old Shepherd mix. Both are incredibly sweet and love people as much as they love each other!

The Lakewood Animal Shelter is located in the Cleveland Metroparks on Valley Parkway, just south of the Lakewood Dog Park. Adoption hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 12-6, and Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 12-4.

Our favorite Trouble(maker)

Trouble has been in our care, since early February, after hematoma surgery in his right ear. We're happy to share that he had his stitches removed recently and is now back up for adoption through CCLAS. His first foster family thought he was very sweet, talkative, and a cuddle bug!

Trouble is available for adoption through CCLAS - not at the shelter.. Adoption fees are always low - only $50. The fee includes a deworming treatment, an initial vaccination, flea prevention treatment, a collar with identification tag, a cardboard carrier, and an initial wellness exam with a second vaccination from participating local veterinarians. oh Mickey you're so fine!

Mickey was found wandering the streets near Lakewood Park when a good samaritan brought him to the shelter late last week, recently neutered and vaccinated, this dashing fellow is ready to meet his forever family. Ask for collar 49.
