CCLAS is looking for a new treasurer for our board.

This is an excellent opportunity for a business professional to get involved in our community while helping our four-legged friends in need.



General Duties

• Manage and maintain all bank accounts
• Oversee all financial transactions
• Complete yearly taxes – State & Federal
• Maintain Certificate of Continued Existence
• Attend monthly meetings
• Participate in various fundraising events and lead at least one fundraising event a year
• Maintain CCLAS email account
• Work with the board to increase donations, community awareness and adoptions

Must Have

• General understanding of accounting duties
• General understanding of Quicken quick books
• Ability to complete yearly tax forms
• Time to invest in CCLAS
• Personal drive to complete tasks to the best of your ability
• Interest in the cause
• Organization and leadership skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Financial or accounting background helpful, CPA preferred
