Abandoned by her owner, Chelsea is hoping for a second chance. Update- Adopted!

How could someone abandoned her? Left behind when her owner moved, Chelsea has been resting comfortably, but is lonely at the Lakewood Animal Shelter. She's definitely one of best looking medium-hair tabby cats we've ever seen with Maine-Coon like features. She has extremely soft fluffy fur, is already spayed and declawed.

Her hobbies include sleeping, purring, rolling around on her back, and being a ham for attention!

Poor Chelsea was recently diagnosed with a treatable Urinary Tract Infection. Luckily CCLAS was able to take her to see a local veterinarian and she's now is back on the road to recovery. Do you have room in your home and heart to help Chelsea?  If you're interested in her, contact the Lakewood Animal Shelter and ask for collar number 324.  She must remain an indoor-only kitty, since she is declawed. CCLAS highly recommends microchipping your pets.

Chelsea (324) is available for adoption at the Lakewood Animal Shelter, located in the Cleveland Metroparks, on Cleveland Metroparks Drive (Valley Parkway) just south of the Dog Park. Adoption fees are always - only $35. The fee includes a deworming treatment, an initial vaccination, flea prevention treatment, a collar with identification tag, a cardboard carrier, and an initial wellness exam with a second vaccination from participating local veterinarians.

Adoption hours are Tuesdays & Thursday 12 to 6, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 12-4. Please visit our website at http://www.cclas.info and our blog at http://cclaspets.blogspot.com/
